He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tyree and Mattie Tyree (Holcomb); and his siblings, Willard Tyree, Clyde Tyree, Charles Tyree, Rufus Tyree, Gladys Tyree Collins, Frances Tyree Alcorn, Mattie Sue Tyree Kincer, Geraldine Garland and Lelah Tyree Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tyree of Smoot Creek; his sons, Tommy of Oxford and Jimmy of Emmalena, KY; his grandson Josh (Whitney); and his great grandchildren, Grayson of Bottom Fork, Finnley of Bottom Fork and Elliott Tyree of Bottom Fork.
