It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Louise Corder (Whitley City, Kentucky), born in Sloans Valley, Kentucky, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Thompson and Lura Thompson (Troxtell). She is survived by : her husband Rev. Bobby Joe Corder; her siblings, Robert Thompson, Joe Bill Thompson, Bobby Thompson and Nancy Flynn; her children, Debbie McClusky (Dale) of Burkesville, Kentucky, George Corder (Judy) of Parkers Lake and Jennifer Corder of Flat Rock, Kentucky; her siblings, Arnold Thompson of Pulaski Co, Gary Wayne Thompson of Pulaski Co, Ronnie Thompson of Ohio, Roger Thompson (Delana) of Ohio, Mike Thompson of Ohio, Jean Bullock of Pulaski Co, Lois Blankenship (Tommy) of Pulaski Co and Rita Hewitt (Benny) of Pulaski Co; and her grandchildren, Jessica Wilder, George Corder, Jr., Kaylynn Glover, Emily Maybriar, Stacey Roberts and Marcus Poynter. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
