He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Helbert and Treva Alberta Rhinehart Helbert; and his half-brother Richard Wayne Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Eldridge (Billy) and Eric Shane Helbert; the mother of his children Carolyn Helbert; his grandchildren, Andrea Bruce, Trenton Helbert, Jaxon Miller and Lily Anne Helbert; and his aunts, Helen Wolfe, Phyllis McNay and Ruth Rasor.
