He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cephas and Erma Watson (Ross); his wife Emma Ruth Massengale Watson; and his brothers, William Alfred Watson and Bud Watson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Erma Sue Watson of Douglasville, GA., Patricia Kay Watson of Lexington, KY. and Dana Jo Watson of Bronston, KY..
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky.
