He was predeceased by: his father Howard Ray; his son James Broome; his brother Rick Ross; and his grandson David Patrick Trager. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Louise Ross (Overby); his wife Rose Ross (Banks) of Whitley City; his children, Brian, Robert Ross, June Hayes, Donna McMillan and Renee Ross Hamby; and his siblings, Gilbert Ross, Kathy, Judy and Anita. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
