He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Sumner of Whitley City, Kevin Sumner (Imogene) of Oneida, Scott Sumner (Debbie) of Pine Knot and Barry Sumner (Cindy) of Whitley City, Kentucky; his siblings, Ken Sumner of Whitley City, Kentucky and Joyce Lawson of Whitley City, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Brandon, Jake, Seth, Eleshia, Johnny, Ryan and Tyler. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
