She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chitwood and Myrtle Waters Chitwood; her husband Morton Duvall Sr.; her son Morton Duvall Jr.; her brothers, Abe Chitwood, Ernest Chitwood, Lawrence Chitwood, Henry Chitwood, Larry Chitwood and Jimmy Chitwood; and her son-in-law Rick Griffis.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Griffis, Molly Ledbetter (Cecil) and Jeff Duvall (Gail); her siblings, John Chitwood, Jack Chitwood (Janice), Mary Jo Sharp, Vada Jean Huff, Ila Corder (Gary) and Elaine Stoker (Eddie); her grandchildren, Cynthia Duvall, Ricky J. Griffis, Monica Sue Phillips (Adam), Chad Duvall (Sandy), Chanda Duvall, Rebecca Thomas, Cory Duvall, Brittney Deets and Jacob T. Griffis; her great grandchildren, Samuel Phillips, Gabriel Phillips, Christian Duvall, Damian Thomas, Ciera Thomas, Destin Duvall, Brynlee Duvall, Hayden Vaught, Dalton Duvall, Ezekiel Duvall, Gavin Deets, Destiny Walker, Alana Deets, Atticus Duvall, Bella Deets and Keira Privett; and her great great grandchild James Duvall.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hickman - Strunk Funeral Home (156 Main St, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
