He is survived by: his children, Gary Payne Jr. (Lindsay) of Wickliffe, Virginia Embrey of Bardwell and Liberty Payne (Logan Whitt) of Arlington; his sisters, Irene Lawrence (Denny) of Grand Rivers and Evelyn Arnold (Rob Hibbitt) of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Jasmine Payne (Maddison), Hailey Bobo, Stormi Whitt, Skylynn Whitt, Camden Whitt, Alyssa Payne, Anna Payne, Austin Payne, Iveigh Payne, Ava Ratta and Alexa Crowley; his great grandchildren, Waylon Bobo, Winston Bobo, Wrenlee Bobo, Arielle Brooks and Saige Lamar; and his pet Buster.
