She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Hawes; and her sons, Brian Keith Hawes and Dwayne Edward Hawes. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann Dennis; her grandchildren, Britney, Crystal, Devin, Austin and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Aidyn, Cale, Braxton, Brentley and Jaxon; and her sisters, Loretta and Vervia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
