She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Gene" Hopkins; and her parents, Eskell Petrey and Minnie Hopkins. She is survived by: her children, Brian Hopkins of Harlan, KY and Melanie Parker (Miles) of Nashville, TN.; her grandchildren, Eric Hopkins (Kirsten), Cade Parker Kiera, Zac Hopkins (Ashley), Will Parker (Darby), Alex Parker (Kaia), Conner Hopkins (Kaitlin), Jacob Parker (Suzanne) and Nicholas Parker; her great grandchildren, Gerard Hopkins, Jimma Hopkins, Nash Hopkins, Knox Hopkins, Carter Hopkins, Adelynn Parker, Rylee Parker and Camilla Parker; and her siblings, Allen Petrey, Dallas Petrey, Sara White, Brenda Patrick (Donnie), Pauline Pate and Oakle Petrey.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens (5970 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701).
