With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Cornelius of Williamsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Bill had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Bill may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Cornelius and Viola Hargis Cornelius. He is survived by: his wife Diana Mayne of Williamsburg; his daughters, Carrie Baker (Tim) of Williamsburg and Melanie Feltner (Billy) of Corbin; his half-brother Herschel Powers of Williamsburg; and his sister-in-law Sharon Goins of Williamsburg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
