He is survived by: his children, Donna Mahan of Williamsburg, KY, Larry Akers (Vivian Hill) of Williamsburg, KY, Fred Akers of Williamsburg, KY and Mike Akers (Sheri) of Knoxville, TN.; his grandchildren, Freddy Akers Jr., Loraleigh Akers, Sherissa Lynch, Kaitlin Akers, Marisa Akers, Anthony Akers, Daniel Mahan, Kyle Akers and Kelly Dunlap; and his sister Alice Lytle of Williamsburg, KY.. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
