He is survived by: his children, Annetta Lewis (Danny) of Rockholds, KY and Allen Rains (Shawnda) of Corbin, KY.; his siblings, Billy Rains of Williamsburg, KY, Earl Rains of Williamsburg, KY, Donnie "Moose" Rains (Freda) of Williamsburg, KY. and Ella Mullis (David) of Williamsburg, KY.; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Sears of Williamsburg, KY, Virginia Rains of Ohio and Carolyn Rains of Williamsburg, KY..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
