Carlos left this world on September 6, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tinsley Grubb and Gladys Grubb (Bargo); his grandparents, Reuben, Ellen Grubb (Hubbard), John and Sally Bargo (Grubb); and his siblings, Arvele Grubb, Odell Grubb (Vera Lois Hill), Leon Grubb, Albert Grubb, Luayina Grubb and Imogene Grubb.
He is survived by: his former wife Julia Marie Lambdin; his children, Ricky Lee Grubb (Vickie Sutton), Karen Ann Lee (Dwayne) and Robert Lynn Grubb (Jamie McCulley); his friend Charles Senters (Harry); his grandchildren, Tinsley Grubb (Allysyne), Kayla Wells (Kevin), Jonie Mullis (Skylar Wilson), Jonathan Mullis (Morghanne Cox), Hope Lay (Dustin), Haley Bowlin (Ryan), Dalton Grubb, Jaycie Monhollen (Dalton Mathis) and JaLynn Grubb; his wife Barbara Sue Vanover; his sister Wilma Jean King (Grubb); his siblings-in-law, Jewel Evelene Hill Grubb, Wilma Jean Lambdin Grubb, Cathy Bunch (Alfred), Eva Smith, Maxine Fritts (Charles), Teresa Shelton, Angela Baker (Daniel), Carlus Edwin Jr. Vanover (Debbie) and Rickie Vanover; and his close friends, Steve Schwartz, Jim Rains, George Lawson and Harold Lambdin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
