He is survived by: his brothers, Christian Ponder, Joseph Ponder and Charles Ponder (Tami); and his nieces and nephews, James Ramsey, Christina Ramsey, Danny Ramsey, Simone Plumley, Elena Scherwinski (Doug), Joseph Ponder, Charles Ponder, Lisa Kuiper, Kasondra Morris and James Morris. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ponder Cemetery (7839 KY-92, Williamsburg, KY 40769).
