It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Powers (Williamsburg, Kentucky), who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Gilbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gilbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Powers; his grandfather Charlie Powers; and his sisters, Arizona Napier and Roberta Powers. He is survived by: his brother Terry Powers; his brother-in-law Timothy Napier; his aunt Carolyn Cureton; and his cousin Amber Moore.
