He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Alsip; his parents, James Alsip and Olive Angeline Alsip; and his siblings, Elmer, Luther, Herman, Ancil Alsip, Levenia Jones, Dorothy Slagle, Zelpha Davis, Radia Bryant, Eunice Wood, Icie Jones, Elza Brooks and Effie Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Angelia Anders (David), James Alsip (Brenda) and Theresa Alsip; his grandchildren, Daniel Alsip, Joshua Matney and Makenzie Olmstead; and his great grandchildren, Takoda, Emree and Mason. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
