It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edgar Powell (Williamsburg, Kentucky), born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Powell and Vina Powell (Loudy); and his sons, Dale Smith III and Quillan Hamblin. He is survived by : his wife Marcella Powell (Dulap); his children, Jamie Powell, Ponchrollo Dulap (Tammy Manard) and Frank Dulap; his grandchildren, Miley Dulap, Damien Dulap and James Combs, Jr.; and his siblings, Dewayne Powell, Joe Powell and Carolyn Boone.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Powell Cemetery (899 Sawmill Hollow Rd, Williamsburg, KY 40769).
