He is survived by : his wife Loretta Rains of Williamsburg; his children, Donna Jackson (Elwood) of Williamsburg and Johnny Rains Jr. of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Michelle Jody of Williamsburg and Lucas Hall of Berea; and his great grandchild Jayleigh Canady.
