He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brummett Childress; his children, Lannie Keith Childress (Margie) of London and James Crockett Childress of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Cole Browning, Daniel Childress, Sarah Childress, Blake Childress, Julianna Childress and Kaylee Childress; his mother-in-law Georgia Brummett; and his sister-in-law Cindy Brummett. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home (106 Cherry St, Pineville, KY 40977). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
