He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer White; his children, Joseph Kersey (Rachael), Jason Kersey (Anissia) and Kayla Helton (Danny); his grandchildren, Levi Kersey, McKenzie Kersey, Syreeta Meadows, Katie Kersey, Desirae Ashenfelter, Alexis Turner, Trinity Harvey, Danny Ray Helton, Dalton Helton and Allen Kersey; his great grandchild DeLeza Thomas; and his brothers, Ronnie Kersey (Tracy) and Wayne Kersey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
