Mable left this world on October 20, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hicks and Polly Bryant Hicks; her son Jerry Rowe; her grandson Thomas Rowe Jr.; and her brothers, Theodore Hicks, Champ Hicks and Gary Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Elsie Mills of Williamsburg, KY, Peggie Rouse of Williamsburg, KY, Bonnie Waitt (SB) of Birmingham, AL, Sheila McBryde (Robert) of Williamsburg, KY and Thomas Rowe of Williamsburg, KY; her daughter-in-law Judy Rowe of Pine Knot, KY; and her sisters, Phyllis Cox (Ulys) of Williamsburg, KY and Amy Jane Rountree of Williamsburg, KY. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 37 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mountain Ash Baptist Church (390 Buck Creek Rd, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
