He was predeceased by: his parents, Green Berry and Ora Davenport; his grandchild Stacy Becknell; and his sister Mary Audell O'Hara. He is survived by: his children, Regina Becknell (Bruce) and Shanda Hunt; his grandchildren, Travis Becknell (Lindee), Trent Becknell (Shawna), Trisha Burke (Dave), Blake Hunt and Derrick Hunt (Krista); his great grandchildren, Cora Emmett (Parker), Thomas Burke, Bailey Becknell, Hunter Becknell, Calvin Becknell and Jonas Becknell; and his siblings, George Davenport, Lolus Hale, Wade Davenport (Evon), Betty Readon (Joe), Larry Davenport (Leoma), Gary Davenport (Barb) and Arnold Davenport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home (1668 State Rte 28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150).
