Melinda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gibson and Etta Gibson; and her siblings, Beverly Knight and Robert Terry Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Chasity Bennett of Williamsburg, KY and Shawn Bennett of Williamsburg, KY; her grandchildren, Erica Felts of Somerset, KY and Everlee Bennett of Williamsburg, KY; her brother Jamie Gibson of Nicholasville, KY; her niece Kara Brown; and her nephew Benjamin Gibson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
