He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Childress and Marie Peace Childress; and his wife Penny Childress. He is survived by: his son Adam David Childress of Wheelwright; his sister Kem Faulkner (Michael) of Williamsburg; his niece Katlin Raines (Matt) of Clinton, TN; his nephew Shaun Faulkner (Amber) of Youngstown; his aunts, Joyce Byrd of Williamsburg, Jackie Childress of Williamsburg and Katie Childress of Corbin; and his cousins, Rena and Jerry Sester of Williamsburg. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
