He is survived by: his wife Denise Mays (Towe) of Barbourville, KY; his children, RJ Mays (Michelle Johnson) of Barbourville, KY, Samantha Mays (Ryan Askins) of Barbourville, KY and William Mays (Jerica Day) of Williamsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Logan Mays, Aubriauna Mays, Kyson Rickett and Gracie Belle Askins; his sisters, Rosie Miller of Barbourville, KY. and Kathern Buttery of Barbourville, KY.; his nephew Russell Miller; and his niece Natasha Murray.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Powers Family Cemetery.
