He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Rhodes and Louise Rhodes; his wife Geneva Rhodes; his son Roy Jr.; and his brothers, Earl, Junior and Kenneth Rhodes.
He is survived by: his son Paul Rhodes (Kristy); his grandchildren, Rev. Roy Joe Rhodes (Lauren) and Megan Ellis (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Lainey Jo Ellis and Lily Jo Rhodes; and his sisters, Carolyn Buttery (Lloyd) and Brenda Rhodes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
