With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Fern Hewlett Hodge of Williamsburg, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hewlett and Frances Hewlett (Smith); her husband Basil Hodge Jr.; and her brothers, Frank, Paul and Marvin Hewlett.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hodge (Pam) and Lawrence Hodge (Debbie); her grandchildren, Robbie Hodge (Dena) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Ben Hodge (Whitney) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Brandon Hodge (Randa) of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Whitney Johnson (Cameron) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Evan, Wyatt, Eve, Hannah, Kensie, Adi and Luke Hodge; and her close friends, June Meyers, Sinda Hays and Naomi Sutton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her church family, and many friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth requested that donations be made to the Youth Program of Frankfort Baptist Church, a cause close to her heart and a reflection of her lifelong commitment to supporting and nurturing young people.
