With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel McFarland of Williamsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Lee and Lula Wells McFarland; and his siblings, Freddie McFarland, Estil McFarland, Ruth Davis and Pamela Faulkner.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McFarland of Williamsburg, KY; his children, Angela Allen (Todd) of Berea, KY, Samantha Adkins (Jeff) of Corbin, KY, Ashlee McFarland of Williamsburg, KY and Samuel Stephen McFarland of Williamsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Taylor Bunch, Baylea Bunch, Clayton Bunch, Grayson Allen, Will Allen, Kaylyn Edwards, Samuel Edwards, Jed Storm, John Storm, Hadalee McFarland and Ireland "Bray" McFarland; his great grandchild Colt Edwards; and his siblings, Alice Perry, Imalene Smith, Viola Thompson, Maudie Jean Thomas, Martha Jones, Donna Grubb and Burley McFarland (Teresa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
