He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Underwood and Elva Smith Underwood; his sister Louise Early; and his son-in-law Jerry Ridner. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Petrey Underwood of Williamsburg, KY; his daughters, Tammie Ridner of Williamsburg, KY, Kimberly Jones (Doug) of Corbin, KY and Katrina Underwood of Williamsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Thomas Ridner (Carolyn), Amanda Bingham (Jared), Tyler Jones and Kamron Jones; his great grandchildren, Haden Bingham, Gabriel Bingham, Aubree Jones, Waylon Bryant, Grayson Bingham and Roman Bingham; and his sister Irene Collins (Gene) of Williamsburg, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
