He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Doc" Jones and Christine Siler Jones; his siblings, Tom Jones (Bessie), Homer Jones (Mary), Kenneth Jones (June), Clyde Jones (Mary Ann), Earl Jones (Ruby), Dorothy Jones Falls (Douglas), Stella Jones Goins (Hubert) and Louise Jones Seales (Howard); and his parents-in-law, James and Flossie Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Murray Jones; his children, Donna Jones Lucas, Debbie Jones Davis and Will Jones (Darlene Marsee Jones); his grandchildren, Chad Davis, Mackenzie Teague, Aaron Jones, Trevor Jones and Trenton Jones; and his in-laws, Eugene Murray (Rainey), Gary Murray, Ed Murray, David Murray, Marlene Murray, Linda Murray Richardson, Rick Davis and Herb Jones.
