She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Thomas and Lula Belle Porter Whaley; her husband Thomas Wesley Thompson; her siblings, Harold Whaley (Mildred), Emerson Whaley (Willena) and Ruth Simpson (Emerson); her niece Anna Lou Roland (Gerald); and her nephew Ricky Whaley (Carol).
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, G. T. Whaley (Linda) of Dry Ridge, KY, Marvin Whaley (Kay) of Williamstown, KY, Darrell Whaley (Edna) of Dry Ridge, KY, Rekenna Rogers (Jim) of Rochester and Celisa Edmondson (Rodney) of Williamstown, KY. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home (30 S Main St, Dry Ridge, KY 41035). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
