Though Rick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Link Chowning and Shirley Joan Kinmon Colston; his wife Debra Lynn Larison Chowning of Williamstown; his sons, Shawn Alan Chowning of Falmouth and Keith Ryan Chowning of Williamstown; his grandchild Breiana Chowning of Falmouth; and his brother Rodney Chowning (Sherry) of Crittenden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Williamstown, KY 41097). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Williamstown Cemetery (300-304 Falmouth Rd, Williamstown, KY 41097).
