It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Rhea Sams of Wilmore, Kentucky, born in New Windsor, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis G. Sams and Linda L. Lowry Sams. He is survived by : his wife Diane Crawford Sams of Lexington; his children, Amy Rhea Goodlett (Grant) of Abingdon, Maryland and Jackie (Bridgette Holleran) of Lexington, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Noah Goodlett, Amelia Rhea Goodlett, Hannah Sams, Tate Sams, John Ganahl and Savannah Ganahl.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
