He was predeceased by: his grandmother Iva; his parents, James T. Brown (Katy Mae) and Jessica Sanders Horton (Joe); and his brothers, Thomas Brown and C. Reed Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Louise A. Brown of Hopkinsville; his children, David C. Brown (Mary) and Jennifer G. Brown (Johnny Evans); his grandchildren, Allison J. Jenkins (Nicholas) of Louisville, KY and Samuel J. Brown (Madeline) of Winchester, KY; and his great grandchild Beauford B. Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Donations may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
