He was predeceased by : his wife Emma Jean Hatton; his parents, Jim Hatton and Emma Hatton; his son Gayle Hatton; and his grandson Colby Giles.
He is survived by : his children, Gerry Hatton (Diane) of Richmond and Debra Giles (Robert) of Versailles; his daughter-in-law Kathy Hatton of Richmond; his grandchildren, Dana Hatton-Middleton, Angela Browning, Patricia Mitchell and Robin Brown; and his great grandchildren, Kadence Browning, Keaston Browning, Hannah Mitchell, Logan Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell, Porter Brown and Palmer Grace Carmichael.
