It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audra Nevelyn Thompson Young of Winchester, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verl Thompson and Josephine McGuire Thompson; her grandparents, Anthony Thompson, Anna Charles, Frank McGuire and Alka Pinson; her husband JC Young; and her siblings, Ronald Michael Thompson, Kelly Gordon Thompson and Charles Randall "Coco" Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Chris Young (Christina Baird) of Richmond; her granddaughter Olivia Grace Young Pool (Mitchell Stone Pool); her sister Brenda Carol Collins of Pikeville, Kentucky.; her siblings-in-law, Merita Lee Thompson of Richmond, Kentucky, Lillian Young Tomlin (Luke) of Calimesa, California and Thomas Bly of North Carolina; and her nephews, Thomas Allen Young of Lexington, Terry Young (Penny Pinson) of Pikeville and Lee Michael Thompson of Richmond, Kentucky..
