He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Hamilton and Mary Edith Newkirk Hamilton; and his brother John Lewis Hamilton, Jr.. He is survived by: his friend Roy Hensley; his siblings, Joyce Henry (George), Margaret Holland, Charles Hamilton and Thomas Hamilton; and his nieces and nephews, Robyn Wade, Ashley Woods, Oliver Woods, Dennis Hamilton, Thomas Ray Hamilton (Rebecca) and Donald Hamilton. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mercy Church of God (240 Winn Ave, Winchester, KY 40391).
