He is survived by: his father Robert Burton; his significant other Heather; his siblings, Jennifer Moss (Andy), Amy Burton and Forrest Burton (Chip Meyer); his children, Micah Burton and Hannah Burton; Heather Burton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Winchester First Church of God (2500 Colby Rd, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
