He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Amburgey and Rachel Nanz Amburgey; his wife Claretta Amburgey; and his siblings, Joseph Amburgey, R. C. Amburgey, Judith Wagoner and Jewell Morgan.
He is survived by: his daughter Bobbi Lin; and his siblings, Jessie, Ralph Greer of Danville, KY and Renee Barringer of Ohio. He is also survived by nephew; and a host of family and friends.
