Elma Creech Bowman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elma Creech Bowman of Winchester, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elma Creech Bowman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Blanton Bowman; her parents, Clayton Creech and Bessie Deaton Creech; and her sisters, Opal Marshall, Hannah Mae Phillips and Margaret Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Gayheart of Winchester, Kentucky, Dwayne Bowman of Winchester and Dean Bowman of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Amanda Corman of Clark County, Kentucky, Whitney Bowman of Clark County, Kentucky and Ashley Borders of Clark County, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Landon, Layton Corman, Kaisen Hill and Asher Borders; and her brother Drexel Creech. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Lucas Cemetery.
