He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wood and Ethel Wood; and his siblings, Eddie Wood, Agnes Jones, Lois Tuttle, Edna Brandenburg and Billy Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Wood (Penny) of Winchester, KY and Suzi Counts (Glenn) of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, Gregory Wood (Laurel) of Richmond, KY, Nikki Scott of Ocala, FL and Josh Wood (Haylee) of Winchester, KY; and his sister Udessa Lovely of Jupiter, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
