She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey R. Tyra and Ada A. Blankenship Tyra; and her siblings, Nell Graham (Fonzie), Bessie Hollon (Leslie), June Catron (Bob), Myra Pence (Harold), Glen Tyra (Anna) and Sewell Tyra (Maxine).
She is survived by: her husband Bennie H. Childers; her children, Lyngle G. Lawson (Robert) of Paris, Ben J. Childers (Jennifer) of Rancho Cucamonga and Anthony R. Childers (Donna) of Winchester, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Euna Eyvonne Lawson Sharp (Bobby), Erin Elizabeth Lawson DeAtley (Charlie) and Carlos Venzor; her great grandchildren, James Sharp, Rachel Sharp, Abigail Sharp, John Sharp and Ruby DeAtley; and her sisters, Vera Harris (Donnie), Jill Fugate (Leonard) and Lora K. Alexander.
In addition to flowers, the family welcomes donations to Bethany Christian Mission and School, 17 Bethany Circle, Campton, Ky. 41301, as an expression of sympathy.
