He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Warren Harris and Carrie Virginia Cecil Harris; his wife Lillian Charles Harris; his brother Tim Harris; and his close friends, Jeff Robbins, Teddy Hughes and Yorkie.
He is survived by: his son George Harris II (Kathy) of Lexington; his grandchildren, George "Chip" Harris III (Stephanie) of Winchester, Tonya Trent (Chris) of Mt. Sterling, Chasaty Harris (Matthew) of Georgia and Tammy Harris of Lexington; and his great grandchildren, Madison Stamper, Chase Trent, Collin Trent, Rylee Trent, Malory Abbott, Brooklyn Harris, Alison Harris, Warren Harris, Lucas Masterson, Joshua Smith, Cameron Smith and Wyatt Smith. He is also survived by 12 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews and other extended family, church family, and friends.
