He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Devary and Ida Frances Goolman Devary; and his siblings, William Devary, Jay Devary, Calvin Devary, Herbert Devary, Sallie B. Devary and Frances Snowden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Jean Devary and Shannon Fiefhaus (Harry); his grandchildren, Alethea Dawn Devary and Jennifer Leigh Fiefhaus-Blankenship (Lee); and his great grandchildren, Londyn Noel Blankenship, Prestyn Scott Blankenship and Henry Lee Young Blankenship. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scobee Funeral Home (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Dr, Winchester, KY 40391.
