James Alex Moberly Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alex Moberly of Winchester, Kentucky, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Julian and Anna Mae Moberly (Watts); his siblings, Jacke, Lonnie Moberly, Bettye Neal, Meldia Moberly and Bonnie Miller; and his grandson Owen Knox Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Stanfield Moberly; his daughters, Janelle Allen (Richard) of Winchester, KY and Jaime Henson (Brian Henson) of Petersburg, WV.; his grandchildren, Jacob Morgan Allen, Lauren Elizabeth Allen, Abby Diana-Grace Henson, Caroline Annette Henson, Calvin Brian Henson and Evelyn Baxter Henson; and his sisters, Vonda White and Lavada Osborne (George). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Bethel Church youth group, Petersburg, WV where it will be used to disciple and develop young people as salt and light for Christ in our world.
