He was predeceased by : his wife Janet Reed Hall; his parents, Dallas B. Hall and Frances Hall; and his sisters, Patty Parker and Elizabeth Carol Hall.

He is survived by : his children, Jeannie Gwynne (Tony) of Winchester and John V. Hall Jr. (Anna) of Winchester; and his grandchildren, John Gwynne, Janeice Gwynne, Dallas Hall and Lillian Hall. He is also survived by nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scobee Funeral Home (219 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, as this was near and dear to his heart.
