He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Joe Peele and Betty Derringer Gregory; his grandparents, Katherine Peel and Broadus Peel; his sister Shannette Dietz Lee; and his stepparents, Charlie Gregory and Wanda Peele.

He is survived by : his wife Sheena Eileen Peel of Winchester; his daughter Crystal Ann Peel Robinson; his granddaughter Alyssa Brooke Ring; his son-in-law Randy Robinson; and his siblings, Susie Riley (Hobert), Mary Jane Richmond, Jerry Wayne Peele, Becky Dowell, Michael Gregory, Billy Dietz and Donna Peele.
