She is survived by: her children, Charles Douglas Childress Jr., Bethany Messer, Darl Messer III, Russell Childress, Jack Turner and Billi Childress; and her grandchildren, Ryan Maggard, Kyaire Stewart, Arimae Childress, Melanie Haire, Aiden Childress, Phoenix Childress and Blake Childress.
