She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellis Phillips and Charlotte Phillips; her grandson John Henry Hershinow; her brothers, Nellis Phillips, Bud Phillips and Charlie Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Nett and Wanda Phillips.
She is survived by: her siblings, Curtis Phillips (Linda) and Doris Nett; her children, O. C. James II, Tamara Hershinow (Brian) and Tyanne Whitworth (Mark); her grandchildren, Tyler Whitworth (Becca), Mary-Kathryn Kallenbach (Nick), Charlotte Claire Hershinow, Naylan James and Miles James; and her great grandchildren, Shepard Mark Whitworth and Ryla Ruby Whitworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Winchester First United Methodist Church, Asbury University Department of Nursing, or the Kentucky United Methodist Children's Home.
